Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

This basement in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, was in need of a new drainage system in order to waterproof their basement. The homeowner decided to call Dry Guys to install our patented WaterGuard Drainage System. The big difference between our drainage system and a commonly used French Drain is that WaterGuard sits on top of the footing in the clean water zone instead of alongside it in the mud. Thanks to its design, mud cannot get into the system, effectively prolonging the life of your drainage system compared to the generic Pressure Relief System. WaterGuard also protects your basement from wall leaks, flooding window wells, and more while simultaneously stopping debris from entering and clogging the drain thanks to its 3/8" wall openings. These openings are unique to WaterGuard, their size allows water to flow freely while still leaving a clean, even look in the basement.

The basement here is suffering from seepage problems, but it is impossible to install a drainage system in the underground of the perimeter due to the monolithic foundation. A monolithic foundation means that the floor and footing were poured as one piece. Instead of the more common WaterGuard system, DryTrak is perfect for situations where jackhammering the floor is not a viable option. DryTrak is compatible with all foundation wall types, and it will perform equally as well when it comes to waterproofing in basements of different sizes, foundation types, and shapes.

This homeowner had just moved into their Penns Grove house built in the 1920s. There were cracks and small leaks present within the basement and crawl space of the home.
