The repairs involved digging in six locations, down almost five feet where the push peers would be placed under the foundation, by hand! The soil on the property is very rocky, but I never heard a negative comment from the crew. They raised the foundation and closed the 1.25" gap in the brick siding. The crack needs cosmetic work to make it look nice, but the foundation is solid now. I am very pleased with the job.

I needed an expert opinion about a foundation problem when making an offer on a residential property. I followed the first hit on an Internet search and ended up with Dry Guys. Elliot (the owner's son) assessed the issue, explained to me exactly what it was, showed me the telltale evidence, and emailed me an estimate, all in the approximately one hour he was on site. He also gave me literature about the Foundation SupportWorks system they use for such repairs to read later. These guys were great. I was in the process of doing other home improvement and it was refreshing that I didn't have to constantly drop what I was doing to check on these guys throughout the process. Jesse and the other installer would periodically check in with me to show how the vents worked and how they were going to be installed. They put drop cloths down on everything and the install job was perfect. I'm very happy with this purchase and I'm looking forward to reducing my flood insurance premium.

Dry Guys Rebuilds a Collapsed Wall in Paoli, PA

Imagine coming home one day to find a gaping hole in your home where your foundation wall used to be. That is exactly what happened to Ben B. after ignoring the cracks in his basement for way too long. “Oh it’s been that way for years...” he remembers saying to himself! Unfortunately, downplaying and ignoring the cracks didn’t make them go away. The wall finally gave way to the pressure after a couple of rains, leaving Ben's home exposed to the elements. To make things worse, another wall was about to suffer the same fate. What do you do when your basement is missing a wall? Call Dry Guys.

When Ben gave us a call, we sent out System Designer Ian Gattuso to assess the unfortunate situation. The first thing that needed to be done was shoring up the structure and removing the front lawn out of the basement so Ben could continue to stay in his home. Then it was a matter of getting the permits and engineering to rebuild the wall and back-fill the hole. After that arduous task was completed, Ben wanted to protect his basement from water as well. We installed our WaterGuard perimeter system and a SuperSump. Some re-grading was also in order.
