Family Promise Fundraiser

Taste of South Jersey is a unique event unlike any other in Salem County!

For just $25 a ticket you can try the specialties from over 20 restaurants in our area. Participating Restaurants compete for "best of" in each category: Appetizers, Soups, Entrees, Desserts, and Snacks. Come out and help choose who has the BEST in South Jersey.

There will be local live entertainment, Basket Raffles, and 50-50 Raffle.

The Taste of South Jersey is Family Promise of Salem County's Signature event for 2010. We have chosen this type of event because it is a completely sponsored event. 95% of all proceeds will be applied directly to helping families.

Family Promise of Salem County (FPSC) is a non-profit 501c3 organization that helps homeless families in Salem County regain their independence. We are an affiliate of the national Family Promise organization established in 1989. We are not a shelter, but a unique approach to homelessness in which churches provide a meal and temporary overnight accommodations. Since FPSC opened August 31, 2009, we have helped 13 families, 16 adults and 29 children. Volunteers and in-kind donations help us to help families at 1/3 the cost of government programs.
