The Dirty Cherry Hill Crawl Space
This crawlspace suffers from a seepage problem which has caused mold to grow in various areas.

Mold on Crawl Space Support Beams
Due to the seepage, the humidity has risen in the crawlspace and cause mold to grow on the wood as seen here.

Mold on Wooden Debris
Mold has also grown heavily on a fallen piece of wood and has grown onto the floor as well.

More Mold on the Support Beams
All this mold will cause the wooden structure to become weak. As these supports begin to give way, the floors above can sag and interior walls may crack, resulting in expensive problems in your home.

Condensation on Ventilation System
The high humidity has also cause condensation to form on the cooler parts of the crawlspace.

The Humid Crawlspace Repaired
The Dry Guys Team started with installing the SmartSump Sump Pump in the crawlspace. The SmartSump™ has a very unique lid which accepts the CleanSpace® liner for a snug seal. Also, any water from a plumbing leak must first pass by the alarm, and will then drain down into the sump. The alarm will sound so you know you have a leak in your crawl space. The Dry Guys Team also installed a SaniDry Dehumidifier that will keep the humidity low and drains right into the Crawlspace pump. To complete the waterproofing process, a SmartDrain and Cleanspace liner was installed.

How the CleanSpace and SmartDrain Work
First, the Smartdrain is buried around the perimeter of the wall to capture water from seepage problems. The water is then drained to the sump pump to be discharged out of the crawlspace. The whole system is then covered by the CleanSpace Vapor Barrier to keep humidity from rising throughout he home, and give a clean look. All these products working together will create a dry and clean crawlspace thanks to the Dry Guys Team!
