Humidity Controlled in Pedricktown, NJ

This crawl space in Pedricktown, New Jersey, suffered from water seepage from the outside causing mold to eat away at the wooden floor joists. The Dry Guys team took action using Mold-X2, we eliminated the mold and restored the wood! SilverGlo Wall Insulation and CleanSpace Vapor Barrier were then installed to create an environment inhospitable to mold. To prevent humidity levels from rising, we also included our self draining SaniDry dehumidifier. When the humidity levels rise, crawl spaces that have fiberglass insulation on the ceiling and floor joists absorb the moisture in the air and become a space for mold to thrive. As the fiberglass soaks up more and more moisture, it becomes damp and heavy, losing its insulation value and (as seen in picture 1), the added weight pulls it from the ceiling. Unlike fiberglass, SilveGlo Insulation was designed for crawl spaces and will not soak up moisture. Our CleanSpace was then installed onto the SilverGlo allowing any water seepage that could come from the wall to be directed down into your drainage system, successfully waterproofing this crawl space!
