Outside of the Home
Outside of the home with open crawl space vents visible.
Old Crawl Space Opening
The old opening into the crawl space. Unreliable covers like this still let in the elements, and can also let in pests.
Open vents can cause numerous problems with your home. Moisture, outside air, and pests can easily enter your home through these vents.
One symptom of a damp crawl space is hanging insulation. Traditional fiberglass insulation can become saturated and begin to droop and fall.
Crawl Space Debris
Dirt Crawl Spaces can be very unpleasant to venture into. This one was also littered with debris. After Dry Guys come to fix it the crawl space will be much cleaner and offers the opportunity to be utilized as storage space.
Old Sump Pump
A shot of the old sump pump with water pooled around it.
Vent From Inside the Crawl Space
Through all the fallen insulation, you can see the inside of the vent.
Inefficient Plastic Covering
Unlike our CleanSpace system, this plastic covering does nothing to keep the crawl space clean or dry.
Nasty Crawl Space
More fallen, saturated insulation and debris in this dirt crawl space.
This image shows standing water in the crawl space. This can cause numerous issues in the home.
In this image, the dampness of the insulation is clearly visible.
After the Install
This image shows the new sump pump, the CleanSpace encapsulation system, and the SilverGlo insulation on the outer walls.
After the Install 2
Another shot after the encapsulation install. This process not only cleans up the crawl space, but it will help the homeowner save energy too.
Outside the home, all of the previously open vents have been covered.
