Chas's favorite part about his job is that his days are varied. It's never a dull moment in the Dry Guys office! It's the problem solving that makes the workday fun and interesting to him.
He lives in Gibbstown, NJ with his wife and is a father of three. Chas is a total "foodie", he loves Star Wars, fitness, sports, and spending time with his family. Chas's description of himself is that he's a "pretty typical guy".
This crawlspace in Cape May Court House, New Jersey, suffered from severe flooding and severe foundation settling. The homeowner decided to call Dry Guys to come help! Our Team began working quickly to stabilize the home by installing our Foundation Push Pier System to counteract the settling problems she was having. Push Piers are installed underneath the footers and then hydraulically we drive 3" pier sections into stable soil effectively raising the house to its original position. We then installed our CleanSpace Drainage Matting over our drainage system, leaving the crawlspace with a clean finish and ample storage room. Finally, the Team installed our Everlast CrawlSpace Door made up of 1/2' thick hi-impact material that will prevent unwanted pests and is built to last!
The steel beams supporting this crawl space in Ocean City, NJ, had begun to rust over time which compromised the structural integrity of the home. Worried that the beams could not bear the weight of the house, the homeowners called Dry Guys. Our team came out to stabilize the home with our patented SmartJack Support System. Our system is engineered specifically for crawl spaces. Their size allows them to be installed in tight spaces and the heavy-duty galvanized steel will support loads exceeding 60,000lbs while being corrosion resistant. With the support beams now stabilized, phase two is to tackle the humidity problem by encapsulating the crawl space to deter mold and allergenic spores. Thanks to Dry Guys, these homeowners can enjoy their home, worry free!
