The girder supporting this Toughkenamon, PA, crawl space has become inflated and began to split, creating structural problems that cause supporting beams to sink or sag in the middle. After the girder was sistered back together, A SmartJack Crawl System was installed which uses adjustable heavy-duty steel crawl space jack posts. The adjustable design of our crawl space jack system means that sagging floors can not only be stabilized, they can also be restored to their original position.

This home in Salem, New Jersey, has a severe bowing wall problem which has caused cracks throughout the entire foundation, including putting pressure on the steps. The before picture shows the front steps crumbling away due to a foundation wall leaning almost two inches outward! A failing foundation wall is a serious problem and should be addressed as soon as possible. These cracks allow a pathway for water, pests, odors, and humidity to enter your home and can potentially lead to a collapse of the structure.
The Dry Guys Team installed a Geo-Lock Foundation Wall Anchor System to stop further damage, and begin restoring the wall back to its original position over periodic servicing. To learn more about Dry Guys’s structure repair services, click here!

This open lid pump in Stow Creek, NJ, seen in the first photo, was replaced by our more efficient SuperSump Sump Pump System. The SuperSump can be installed with an optional UltraSump Battery Backup Sump Pump, which can pump out 11,500 gallons or more on a single charge!
This home in Chester Heights, PA, experienced high humidity levels in the crawl space. Humidity is capable of serious damage, especially in homes and can cause discomfort, mold, mildew, and even comprise the structural integrity of the home. Wanting to fix this issue, the homeowners called Dry Guys. Our System Designer came out to find what was causing the humidity issue and to prescribe a solution. Having a dirt floor and open vents are easy ways for humidity to seep into the home. To stop this, our team installed our patented CleanSpace Encapsulation System. This product creates a sealed environment, inhospitable to mold. Our one of a kind product called SilverGlo was used to insulate the walls and joists' pockets where 60% of heat loss occurs. SilverGlo is engineered with a polystyrene material and infused with graphite, preventing it from absorbing moisture. There's a thin foil sheet on the front that reflects 97% of your heating or cooling back into your home. The infused graphite gives it a higher R-value than traditional fiberglass. The final step in the dehumidification process is the installation of our SaniDry Sedona air scrubber. This system eliminates humidity in the air and filters out any lingering bacteria. The SaniDry Sedona is designed to be energy efficient yet powerful and even drains directly into the SmartSump for your convenience! Our products work together to create an energy efficient, drier, healthier environment in your home!
This home had issues with moisture in its basement. This led to a mold issue that damaged the air quality of the house. With the installation of our ThermalDry Wall moisture is stopped because this wall acts as a vapor barrier from the porous concrete walls. Our ThermalDry Wall even has a heat reflective surface making the home more comfortable!
This house in Malvern, Pennsylvania, only had a chimney flue for a sump pump. Groundwater was not directed into the flu effectively which caused their pump to short cycle resulting in premature failure. The Dry Guys Team was called to install our powerful cast-iron SuperSump system, capable of pumping out 2,220 gallons of water per hour. Super sump also has the option for a backup Ulltrasump that includes or special power pack which can discharge 12,000 gallons or more on a full charge!
This decade-old home in Swedesboro, New Jersey, began to experience water seepage from a vertical wall crack in the basement. This homeowner in Newport, NJ, noticed an issue with their wall where it actually began to move inward toward the basement. Knowing that this was a serious problem, they called Dry Guys and had an experienced system designer come out to assess the situation. Our designer gave this homeowner several options for repair. Bowing walls are typically caused by hydrostatic pressure and frost heave. As water saturates the soil around the foundation, that absorbed moisture is then pushing against the wall due to the force of gravity. When you go swimming and dive down deeper and deeper, you can feel the water pressing against you, the same concept is applied to bowing walls. The deeper the wall, the pressure that pushes against it increases. The best solution for this homeowner was our patented product called Geo-Lock Wall Anchor System. Our Wall Anchors are designed with hardened galvanized steel and are embedded into the soil out away from the foundation wall to use the earth to stabilize the bowing wall. These steel plates will permanently stop the inward wall movement and with annual servicing, it even has the potential to return the wall back to its original position. With the help from Dry Guys, this homeowner no longer needs to worry about their wall collapsing!
Originally, this sagging crawl space in Bridgeport, NJ, was supported by concrete blocks. This kind of installation requires constant maintenance and additional wooden shims, and because the concrete columns continued to sink into the earth below, this solution ultimately failed. Our SmartJack Crawl Space Support System uses adjustable, heavy-duty steel crawl space jack posts that install quickly into a home and provide the best solution for restoring stability to your structure. The adjustable design of our crawl space jack system means that sagging floors can not only be stabilized, but they can also be restored to their original position.
This crawl space in Spring City, PA, often flooded and had high humidity levels making it a perfect environment for mold. The Dry Guys Team was called to update their crawl space and keep it dry and safe for years to come. Our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier, Sanidry Air Purifier and SilverGlo Insulation created a healthier, more energy-efficient space in their home. Mold, rot, and mildew are now controlled, with rodent and insect infestations being a thing of the past. Sealing a crawl space also has the added benefit of creating a dry, usable space that looks great. This homeowner now has an energy-efficient crawl space that also makes the home more comfortable, no longer will they have cold feet or mystery odors!
The homeowners of this house in Elmer, NJ, were getting ready to rent to new tenants. Wanting to make sure everything was alright, they called Dry Guys to inspect their crawl space. Upon arrival, our System Designer quickly discovered that everything wasn't okay. High moisture levels caused the fiberglass insulation to become saturated and heavy, pulling apart from the floor above. Fiberglass also contains some organic material, so in a damp, humid space, mold and mildew thrive. The Dry Guys Team came out to remedy this situation. We removed all the old, damp insulation and installed our SilverGlo Insulation on the walls. SilverGlo is engineered with polystyrene, infused with graphite. This creates a closed cell product that does not absorb water and has improved insular properties, saving the homeowners money on their heating bills. CleanSpace Encapsulation System and CleanSpace Drainage Matting were then installed. Our patented Encapsulation System is used to seal the crawl space, preventing humidity and water vapor from the soil to pass through. By sealing the crawl space, this home is now protected from mold and rot along with deterring allergenic spores and odors, keeping the home dry and safe.
This moldy crawl space began to decay the wooden structure and the joist sagged due to this. After calling Dry Guys, a SmartJack Crawl Space Support System was put into place. These support post are fully adjustable and compatible with crawl space encapsulation systems, making it a good choice for homeowners wishing to eliminate moisture problems and improve home energy efficiency, while also solving structural problems.

This homeowner in Gibbstown, New Jersey, was concerned that his current flood vents were not going to protect his foundation against a flood. With the help of Dry Guys, these vents were replaced with our patented SmartVent Flood Vents. During floods, these vents create a pathway for water to flow in and out to relieve stress off the foundation walls. These products can prevent the force of floodwaters and waves from causing your foundation from caving in or collapsing. As a bonus, the SmartVents will also lower his flood insurance cost, per the NFIP (National Flood Insurance Program).
This home in Morton, PA, suffered from a faulty french drain and sump pump. When the sump was originally installed, it was placed higher than the drainage system preventing water from draining properly. Whenever heavy rainfall occurred, the basement would flood and the homeowners would have to shop vac the water out of the basement. With the water no longer visible, a harsh and mysterious smell lingered that could be noticed throughout the home. With the help of Dry Guys, the old systems were taken out and to prevent future flooding we installed our patented WaterGuard Drainage System and patented SuperSump System! Our WaterGuard is perfectly designed, including 3/8'' wall flanges to give a clean, finished look without collecting debris that would cause clogs. The collected water is then drained into our SuperSump that's equipped with a cast iron pump making it more than capable to pump out any water produced by storms. This creates an environment where mold can't grow. With the smell gone and basement fully equipped, the homeowners have a worry-free retirement!

Wall cracks are common in homes throughout PA, however, even small cracks can lead to major problems once they begin to leak groundwater. This wall crack in Prospect Park, Pennsylvania, runs up behind the concrete seal of a pipe and was leaking into the basement. We sealed the crack with our patented FlexiSpan Wall Crack Repair System. Which unlike other hydraulic types of cement and epoxies, FlexiSpan will never dry out or re-crack over time. This is due to FlexiSpan’s polyurethane base allowing it to bend and stretch along with the foundation's movements. FlexiSpan stays bonded with wall movement and seals the crack permanently, no matter what.
This customer had our WaterGuard Perimeter System and the EverLast Wall panels installed in their home. We also put in a SuperSump system. With the combination of these products together, no more water enters the basement and mold growth is prevented and discouraged. Dry Guys fixes the problem and leaves your basement looking great!
Another company attempted to waterproof this basement in Monroeville, New Jersey. The two pumps that they installed couldn't adequately drain, so water would continue to come up through the floor crack (as seen in picture 1). The Dry Guys Team was called and came to the conclusion that a redesign was required in order to successfully waterproof this basement. Our patented WaterGuard Perimeter Drainage System was installed to direct any flooding water to the sump station and we epoxied the offending crack. We then installed our TripleSafe Sump System to pump out the water being directed in. This sump station can handle 6500 gallons per hour and includes a backup system that attaches to your home alarm system for your peace of mind. The powerful power pack can pump up to 12,000 gallons on a full charge, which is the equivalent of an above ground pool!

To reduce the humidity and eliminate the mold, the Dry Guys Team installed a Zoeller 1/3 Horsepower sump pump and a CleanSpace Vapor Barrier. This will protect the crawlspace from outside elements and discharge any water that gets into the crawlspace.
