Kim Gattuso:
"Can I get your name please?"
Judy Horvath:
“Judy Horvath Horvath and this is Richard Horvath Horvath.”
Kim Gattuso:
"And where are you guys located?"
Judy Horvath:
“Greenwich New Jersey.”
Kim Gattuso:
"And what made you choose our company over anyone else that had the opportunity to come out?"
Judy Horvath:
“Your sign. We called, everything was right, professional and we said yes go for it.”
Richard Horvath:
“And the time that it took to put it in was great. We were told by many of the neighbors that it's not going to work. We didn't even have water down here but it seems that since we moved here that same year it rained so hard that the cellar actually flooded. Once I got the water out I said that's it because I would love to have my Eagles room and I couldn't put it in here with the water and I never wanted to chance it again. It's been eight years that it's been in and the service from Dry Guys is great and I haven't seen any water in eight years."
Kim Gattuso:
"Can you tell us a little bit about the install process?"
Richard Horvath:
“Yeah first they measured everything and they found where the water was coming in, which surprised me because I didn't think it was there and they drove through the concrete. They have a high and low pump so if one doesn't work the other one comes on and they put two pumps in each section of the half which this basement's about a thousand square feet. I haven't had water since.”
Kim Gattuso:
"And you got the TripleSafe sump pump correct?"
Judy Horvath:
“Yes.”
Richard Horvath:
“They put the piping in, they ran it outside, they drilled through the wall so everything's secured and everything's been great.”
Kim Gattuso:
"Okay. I know that you had your sump pump serviced this past month. I want you to talk a little bit about the service process and why you decided to get them serviced.
Richard Horvath:
“Well as much as the pumps work it's good to be safe and secure with the pumps because if something happens you can really end up losing everything down here you know?"
Kim Gattuso:
"With your neighbors telling you that it's not going to work, what was the process once it did work going back to them and saying now I have my finished basement?"
Judy Horvath:
“It did work and none of them believed it would but they believe it now.”
Richard Horvath:
“Many of them have been over here checking. It's because obviously we've gotten a lot more rain in the last couple years of what that we've ever gotten. I'm just amazed. I would recommend definitely to anybody in my family, any of my friends, neighbors, go to Dry Guys.”
Kim Gattuso:
"So what made you decide to finish the basement? How long after the install did you decide to finish the basement?"
Richard Horvath:
“I went for about two to three years to make sure and I said wow we can do it now. I felt safe enough to do it.”
Kim Gattuso:
"Does that affect you like sleeping, does the noise affect you?"
Judy Horvath:
“No. No when they run it's kind of like your furnace when your furnace goes off. You hear it but you don't hear it and that's just, they don't make a lot of noise no.”
Richard Horvath:
“They're the quietest pumps. I don't even know they're running half the time. Really no different than just a stove or a fan. It's not even that loud. You don't even know the water's traveling that far and going outside. When they came here and they told me the best way to go- I went the best way listening to him. Everything that they said came out perfect and I'm better'n pleased.”
Kim Gattuso:
"Did you have other companies come out?"
Judy Horvath:
“Nope. When the service person came out, Scotty, he was wonderful. Very nice person. He did his job, told me what he was doing, every now and then I popped my head in and took a peek- because I was curious. I never saw what was in there and he was a very, very nice person.”
Richard Horvath:
“Most of the people- I don't remember who I've talked to or any of that but it was always pleasant and there's no problem. The people would be here right away if there was a problem but I never had a problem. That's the truth.”
