The members of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Army Navy Unit Garrison #52 based in National Park, NJ, had installment of Officers on November 20, 2013, including Kim Gattuso as Junior Vice President.

The Garrison is the oldest veteran organization, established in 1884 with the purpose to provide fraternity among veterans to support living veterans and honor the dead. They set out to serve the veterans of this country and communities in honor of the sacrifices and commitment of every man and woman who has served in uniform.

Kim has been a standing member of the ladies auxiliary since 1997, with multiple family members on both sides spread throughout the armed forces including Army, Navy, and Air Force.  Growing up, a strong sense of country and duty was instilled in Kim by her family, including both of her grandfathers, veterans of WWII, and the Korean War, along with her uncles, veterans of Vietnam, Iran and Iraqi wars.
