Luckily, we thought ahead for situations such as these! Our UltraSump system comes with a battery backup, making no room for accidents. The automatic switch turns on the battery-operated pump if water rises above the AC pump operating range. You do not have to worry about the battery running out quickly as well, since this system removes up to 12,000 gallons of water on a fully-charged battery! This system also has an alarm, so you know if your power tripped, even for a second, causing the backup pump to turn on.
