TripleSafe Sump Pump System
The TripleSafe has three pumps to address the most common issues that cause flooded basements. Some basement waterproofing systems cover two of these areas, but this amazing system covers all three.
- Failed pump: if the first pump fails, water rises to the second pump and it takes over.
- Can’t keep up: if the first pump can’t keep up with the volume of water, the second, more powerful pump kicks in – and more than doubles the pumping capacity!
- Power Failure: In a big rainstorm the power often goes out, taking most sumps out of action. The TripleSafe, however, incorporates the patented UltraSump Battery Backup Sump Pump, which takes over automatically if the other pumps fail for ANY reason.
Each TripleSafe or SuperSump system includes:
- Cast-iron Zoeller Sump Pumps are used in every system.
- WaterWatch Sump Pump Alarm System alerts you when the pump has failed.
- SuperLiner Sump Pump Basin, designed specifically for Basement Systems sump pump systems.
- CleanPump Sump Pump Stand to keep the sump pump raised out of any sediment at the bottom of the sump pump basin.
- Sump Pump Check Valve to prevent water from draining back into the basin.
- The IceGuard Discharge Line System to prevent frozen discharge lines from flooding a basement.
- An airtight Basement Floor Drain.
- Airtight Sump Pump Cover to keep any sump pump smell or odor from entering the basement.
The UltraSump Battery backup pump included with the TripleSafe is also available as an add-on for the SuperSump. The UltraSump uses a battery designed specially for going long periods without use – not an automobile or marine battery. The TripleSafe covers all your bases.
The installed sump pump liner and matching cover form an airtight bond with a clean, finished look. This lid contains moisture and helps quiet sump pump noise.
