SuperSump Sump Pump System
The SuperSump includes a high-end 1/3 HP cast-iron Zoeller sump pump with mechanical float switch. This pump is the finest available, chosen from among nearly 50 models. At 2650 gallons per hour (that’s 44 gallons per minute!) at an 8-foot discharge head, it smoothly and quietly pumps water out of your basement or crawl space. It also is resistant to clogging, since it can pump up to half-inch solids. This kind of pump performs reliably for years.
The patented sump pump cover is airtight, keeping odor from moisture in the sump basin – as well as bugs and radon gas – while quieting sump pump noise. The cover also protects small children from playing with or falling into the sump. The SuperSump is designed to hold a secondary, battery-backup sump pump within the same liner, in case your power goes out or the other pump fails for any reason.
UltraSump Battery Backup Sump Pump
An AC powered sump pump system can fail on you when the power goes out – which does tend to happen during a big storm! An UltraSump Battery Backup Sump pump can protect against this.
The UltraSump is the third pump of a TripleSafe system, or can be added to the SuperSump. This DC powered backup sump pump helps to protect against flooding if the power or circuit breakers fail, or if the primary pump doesn’t turn on for any reason.
A major advantage to the UltraSump is its battery, which can power the pump for long enough to pump 11,000 gallons at 2000 gallons per hour! This is not a car or marine battery, but one specially engineered to endure long periods without use. You should have a battery like this connected to your backup system to ensure it will still work when the power does go out. The UltraSump comes with a charging system to both recharge it after a power outage and keep it charged properly during the long periods it isn’t in use.
The UltraSump lets you rest easy, especially when you are away from home. The high gallon-per-minute output, "smart" automatic electronic charger, reliable switch and heavy-duty motor are a winning combination.
Pictured on the left, the air-tight sump cover of a SuperSump with an UltraSump battery backup keeps moisture contained, away from a basement, and has a one-way floor drain to drain water in case of an interior plumbing leak. The system also comes with a WaterWatch sump pump alarm that will warn you in the event water rises above the level where the pump should have come on, letting you know before flooding occurs that there is a problem. The LED display shows battery status and another alarm will let you know if there is a power failure. Another great thing about the system is that it looks great and won’t let anything fall in.
