“My name is Joe O'Neil.”

"And where are you from?"

"Can you tell us your experience with Dave Davis, your System Designer?"
Joe:
“Dave Davis was terrific he, his trait was communication, and he walked us through the whole process- and I think the big thing with Dave was he had a really patient personality. He wasn't pushy. He wasn't overbearing. I guess something that people don't look for in salesmen but I think some people would like that like myself. The consumer doesn't want to be pressured into buying a product. Dave never once pressured me to sign up with Dry Guys and I felt comfortable with that. So my wife and I decided on Dry Guys because of Dave's personality and his lack of pressuring you to buy what he's selling.”
Jaynelle:
"What was your experience with Scott?"
Joe:
“Scott was terrific. Both Scott and Dave came on a Friday. We had a window well problem- water was building up on our window well and you couldn't get to it from the outside so those guys had a plan to redirect the water inside the house. Scott was terrific- he and Dave worked from the time they got here which was like 1:00pm to around 6 or 6:15pm, and I was here the whole time and I don't think I saw them once take a break so kudos to those guys because their work ethic was very impressive.”
Jaynelle:
"Tell us about your experience with the office staff on the phone."
Joe:
“The office staff had a lot of jump in the personality. I could just tell from conversing with them over the phone- Dry Guys called when my son was coming home from college and the woman on the other end of the line rejoiced for us having our son back for Easter vacation so they were very cool.”
Jaynelle:
"Did you have any other estimates from other companies?"
Joe:
“We had an estimate from another company. The reason we went with Dry Guys was because Dry Guys had everything written out on paper and I like that.”
"We had two window well ducts put in. When Dave came in he explained the process of drilling a hole and there's a channel- the water flows down like the Niagara Falls, dumps into the channel in the bottom of the basement floor- there's a channel here- we were fortunate because the builder of this house already had a French drain in so what happens is the water drains down under the floor to the French drain all the way down to the sump pump. We had another window well taken care of. That one wasn't as bad as this one but as you can see we've had issues with this I would say at least 10 or 11 years and my wife and I just decided let's let's get this done. One of the things we were worried about was the price and it was very reasonable, very doable for for our budget so we were very fortunate in that respect.”
“We had one gully-washer like three days after they had installed it and it worked terrific except there was a little minor problem at the bottom of the window well and Scott immediately scheduled a service appointment. He came back like maybe ten days later- as a matter of fact it was yesterday- and he rectified that problem. So knock on wood everything seems fine.”
“This was the issue and we had a very heavy rain and what happened was the water was coming down here very quickly and there wasn't enough room for the water to be absorbed so we ended up having a little puddle here and I contacted Scott our lead technician and he assured me not a problem, so he came back yesterday, he did exactly what he told me he was going to do.He chiseled out this spot here, made it deeper, put some stone in there and then filled it with concrete so knock on concrete- we're good to go.”
“I have really honestly from- from our first exposure to Dave to Scott leaving the house yesterday everything went pretty well and I'm glad we stayed local. It went very smooth from beginning to end and as with all relationships with contractors you have to have the trust factor to develop that relationship and I think one of the key ingredients of that was communication and I think Dry Guys does a great job. Being human beings it's hard to commit to a time. If they didn't meet the requirement of being where they're supposed to be they always called me and I really do appreciate that and I understand that and I think that's what people are looking for.”
