NJ Basement Waterproofing Experts Helps Taste Of South Jersey Event Raise $12,000 For Family Promise

Woodstown, NJ - Not only can this local community gather together to enjoy the tastes of the local restaurants, but it has accumulated over $12,000 worth of donations for the Family Promise of Salem County, which is an organization supporting the local homeless families. Everything was donated for this event, including the Riverview Inn facility in Pennsville, NJ.

Without the aid of the government sector, this non-profit organization has been able to successfully raise thousands of dollars in donations for its cause, after the completion of just one event.

The Tastes of South Jersey quickly became Family Promise's prime event of 2010 and has made a great influence on the organization's financial needs.

Family Promise of Salem County opened just a year ago and in such a short time has already assisted 13 families, 16 adults and 29 children through the support of over 500 volunteers and multiple donations. Such resources provide help to these individuals at a third of the cost of similar government programs.

The organization is also a division of the nationally recognized Family Promise Interfaith Hospitality Network that is devoted to assisting homeless families trying to obtain their independence and security. This network's 151 divisions spans across 39 states.
